U.S. shrimp imports tháng 10/2013 continued to increase compared to the month 10/2012 imports of shrimp though 10 months have decreased slightly over the same period last year. Shrimp imports in October rose 11% in the U.S. when the first 10 months of 2013 imports decreased by 3.3%.
Shrimp imports from Thailand continued to decline , imports from Ecuador decreased to 17.6 % . Meanwhile , imports from Indonesia , India and Vietnam increased .
Imports of shrimp and shrimp HLSO cut back by 2.3 % in October but down 7 % in the first 10 months nam.Thang 10/2013 , imports increased by 22 % cooked shrimp however , the first 10 months of this year to U.S. goods imports decreased to 11 % . Breaded shrimp imports into the United States has no signs of improvement .
Price HLSO white shrimp and value added products in the U.S. market has slowed down slightly after the end of November and beginning of December last . U.S. shrimp market has improved or not depends much on the consumer end of the year , especially in the retail sector and the food business . Reserves remaining after the festival will determine market trends in I/2014 quarter .
In addition, global demand , especially demand from China and other Asian countries will also have a major influence on the U.S. shrimp market in the first quarter of this year . U.S. shrimp market in general is still not really stable in the short term but temporary stable market with current reserves shrimp . Prawn supply for the U.S. and still not many are unlikely to rise in the coming months .
