Officially connecting the National Single Window Portal in December

On August 11, 2014, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh, Head of the National Steering Committee on Single Window, signed the Decision on promulgating the operation plan of the Steering Committee in the last 6 months of 2014 and In the first quarter of 2015. Accordingly, in December 2014, the National Single Window Portal will be officially connected.

Since September 2014, the Steering Committee has promulgated the Regulations and responsibilities of stakeholders, adjusted the technique and organized training for enterprises and civil servants.

In September 2014, the Steering Committee will also issue a Joint Circular guiding the implementation of Decision 48/2011/QD-TTg. From September to December 2014, building and deploying the National Single Window Customs Portal and its component systems to connect and implement Phase 2 of Decision 48/2011/QD-TTg.

The national single window customs mechanism is an integrated system that allows parties involved in import and export activities to submit or send standardized information and documents to a single receiving point; State agencies process data and information and make decisions based on a system of uniform and synchronous processes and procedures; make a decision and send this decision to a system that is agreed to provide and exchange information uniformly between State agencies; and the Customs authority shall make the final decision on the clearance and release of exported, imported, transited goods or means of transport on exit, entry or in transit based on the decisions of the competent authorities. The relevant state is transferred to the system in a timely manner according to the regulations on the provision of public services.
