To step up the collection management, exploit revenue sources, and prevent revenue loss through price consultation, valuation, and tax calculation code identification.

In addition, strengthening the post-customs clearance inspection; strengthen the inter-sectoral coordination mechanism to prevent, inspect and detect acts of commercial fraud across the origin of goods...

According to reported data, in 2014, the amount of imported petroleum increased by 25.6%, the turnover increased by 23.45%. Due to the high and stable import tax rates throughout the year (14% DO oil and 18% gasoline), the revenue from this product reached more than 6.6 trillion VND, an increase of 56.37% compared to 2013. and accounted for 93.24% of total revenue of the whole unit.

In 2014, Khanh Hoa Customs Department also promoted reform, modernization, and facilitation for trade, investment and tourism activities in the area under its management, implemented the automatic electronic customs clearance system. VNACCS/VCIS activities at all branches from May 26, 2014. Up to now, the system has operated smoothly, shortening customs clearance time and facilitating trade activities. 100% of import-export enterprises (157 enterprises) have carried out procedures and cleared goods on the system with 15,376 declarations, turnover of 1.4 billion USD.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Customs Nguyen Duong Thai highly appreciated the results achieved by the collective of Khanh Hoa Customs Department. At the same time, share the difficulties of the Customs industry in general and the difficulties that the unit is facing. The Deputy Director General also directed the Departments and Departments of the General Department of Customs to have a direct working session with Khanh Hoa Customs Department to solve outstanding problems.
