Firstly, the General Director requested each Customs Department of provinces and cities to strive to exceed the targets assigned by the General Department.

Specifically, creating favorable conditions for enterprises with a large flow of regular import-export goods through the unit and good compliance with the law; regular dialogue with taxpayers.
Proactively and actively propagate policies and laws, especially guiding documents of the Customs Law 2014, to help businesses understand correctly, fully and voluntarily comply with tax obligations.
Coordinate with media agencies to propagate good examples in tax collection and payment, notify enterprises of customs violations, deliberately delay in tax payment and tax debt payment. Propagating to businesses the benefits of payment through the banking system so that businesses can actively participate.
Maintain a quick resolution team, proactively solve problems within the competence for each enterprise.
Surveying and evaluating the law observance and import-export turnover of enterprises with large revenues, regularly carrying out procedures at each border gate to have an appropriate priority mechanism to ensure compliance with the law.
The third is to focus on reviewing and firmly grasping the tax debt situation at the unit, ensuring effective collection of outstanding debts.
Declarations arising in 2015 must be collected in full and in a timely manner. For overdue tax debts incurred in 2015 at the unit, the Director must be responsible to the General Department and the Ministry leaders.
Continue to review and submit to the competent authorities to write off the debts which are subject to write off according to Article 134 of Circular No. 128/2013/TT-BTC and Circular No. 179/2013/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance.
Urging debt recovery, coordinating with commercial banks, police, domestic tax and relevant agencies in handling difficulties in debt recovery.
Fourthly, strengthen the control, fight against smuggling, trade fraud and risk management (risk management).

Strengthen coordination with police, border guards, market managers, marine police... Promote propaganda and dissemination of legal policies. Organize information collection, analysis and risk assessment. Review and analyze import-export activities of enterprises, focusing on high-risk enterprises. Improve operational efficiency of container scanners, baggage scanners....
Fifth, strengthen post-customs clearance inspection, inspection and internal inspection.
Post-clearance inspection prioritizes inspection and detection of new and hot issues, ensuring timely prevention of law violations.
Focus on inspecting key businesses, fields and products with high risk.
The sixth is to strictly implement the fiscal policy, the conclusions and recommendations of the audit and inspection agencies.
Seventh, strengthen building a contingent of cadres and civil servants, maintaining discipline and discipline in performing tasks.
